Retail Stamp Booklets 2010
We
understand that there will
be several retail booklets this year, and rather than create a page for
each one, they will all be shown here. At present we know of
two books containing Olympics/paralympics stamps first issued in
October 2009, and a booklet advertising the London 2010
Festival of Stamps. We expect this last to contain 6 x 1st
class stamps and an advertisement. The Machin
definitives will have security
features.

Royal Mail do not regard
these
as a new issues, so there will are no official first day covers or
First Day of Issue postmarks.
However we will proudce a small
number of
FDCs using the original Olympics FDC.
Technical

The booklets are printed by Walsall Security Print and
the stamps
are self-adhesive, non-soakable. (All
images
are Royal Mail Copyright 2009/10.)
